Hush Glistening White

Behold Nature’s Palate of Colour and Beauty

Do You see beauty?

Softly it laid its silver White Blanket

Through the night.

The blanket melts and feeds the Rivers’ flow

Through cities and small mountain towns

Rocky Mountain streams it flows

Drinking at the edge a beautiful beast nourishes it thirst

Down the Colorado River it flows from the Hushed nights’ blankets thrown

Offering five states the river flows,

Growing fields of corn, lettuce and grass for horses’ foals to grow

The air is fresh, filled with pure white glistening blanket of snow

The air is crisp, breath deep it is pure filling all lungs as deer come to near pasture edge

The Hush came in the night, while we were sleeping

Wild life lowing keeping warm. Breathe this morning’s air filled your lungs and be alive

For the White Blanket will bring green pasture, Hummingbirds and Life once again,

Nurturing, feeding new born, fields of bees buzzing collecting pollen, spreading more life

Behold Life!

It is the White blanket has cover our beautiful Colorado again tonight.

It feeds so many animals the under greenery as it begins to freshly grow.

My dogs loves to roll in the soft fluffy snow so does my Arabian horse; cooling his winter coat and to bound up hill with joyous spin – kicking hooves in jubilation.

Eagles and hawks find their prey easily, coyotes and foxes show their magnificent fur coats brightly, nourishment abounds

The sun returns, melts all away,

The stream gush as children play.

The pure water flows down to the Colorado river, feeding the great canyon and five states

All are assured they have water for their spring and summer harvest.

It is the beauty of nature that gives us a moment,

if only we could appreciate it all for a moment,

Listen to the Hush of snow falling, leaving us a blanket of life

Precious life germinates and flourishes, all from one nights’

Winter Hushed Blanket covering the land with a White Blanket of softness.

Be silent, Listen to the Hush, for the sound of nature fills all sense with beauty,

And life begins again.

I leave you this weekend to write in books to be published later. Enjoy our wildlife, our beautiful aspens, the snow that feeds many states, flows down the Grand Canyon, delivering sacred Life.
