Power!

I Humbly Regard Your Presence Before Me!

Power is action of steadfastness with a purposeful undertaking to transform.

As all attributes in life there is a balancing parallel.

For Power, it is Humility!

An instinctual legitimacy in action from the heart.

As a person who stands in Power, from within the depths without question, the results are Resolution.

Seeing themselves in an accompaniment with the world as active participants. Raising the communities and individuals without question.

There are a great amount of misconceptions about the attributes of Power.

This state is similar to the Authority of a Smile: a smile will infect each person when the facial expression is seen and, a Smile has the ability to spread through a room at lightening speed.

Is this power? Certainly arguable; what affects another person to change emotionally is a causal moment. For the most part a smile spreading is non-directed, rather an unconscious or conscious reaction to a pleasant memory, thereby a smile is forth coming.

As I think of a baby with a mother’s smiling face, often the baby will smile in return. Is this power? Defensible!

Does a parent have power over their children? It is one of Authority, Ability to care deeply and Impression.

It is emotional and the more we become aware of our emotions, how to gauge them, the care we stand in more of a position of authority.

Authority does not bespeak of Power. Nonetheless, genuine Power contains Authority. That Authority has an instinctual  to “care about all.”

Power brings about a vision in ameliorating some consequences in our world or intimate life. Whether that be for the planet, human or animal. Its primary function is to find a solution, implement a dauntless explanation in actionable transformation.

This does not denote one is a hero, absolutely the opposite, for in courageousness and bravery, one never views themselves as either.

My Arabian horse has the ability to crush me in an instant, this speaks of ability and strength; it is not power.

His intent is to do no harm, consistently respecting our relationship; Trust!

Power can and will be used to build countries and nations, to what future we are unaware.

To offer examples of Power verses Wealth: John D. Rockefeller and Warren Buffet.

Rockefeller along with Carnegie, Vanderbilt often times were ruthless and extremely competitive for wealth and complete ownership. These examples are not of Power! They speak to control, which often comes from Narcissism, Sociopaths and Psychopathic deep seeded embodiment. These conditional states are not consistently detrimental,  with sabotage or impairment intent.

To pair off Power in its personification: John D. Rockefeller was of greed, aimlessly harmful with his intent to garnish a monopoly in all directions of business. From ownership of Sinclair Oil, railways, to the steel mills and more, purchased with vehemence from Carnegie, they waged war amongst themselves.

Rockefeller began his galvanized career at the age of 19. Impetuosity grew a monolithic empire. Rockefeller was driven by a strong appointed narcissism to succeed in personification of businesses .

This is not Power!

A quote regarding Rockefeller: “Those he couldn’t beat, he broke. Born poor, Rockefeller believed his riches demonstrated God’s endorsement. He became so powerful he could tip a country into collapse.”

What was not widely known was his father was coined as: a conman known as ‘Devil Bill’ thus was born another man to dominate multiple empires. When Rockefeller died, is when he truly became powerful, he donated $100 billion of his legacy.

Nonetheless, viewing a century past, to establish a countries wealth in multiple industries, the country prospered immensely, seared forever in history from these men of an era: Vanderbilt, Andrew Carnegie, J P Morgan, Tom Scott and Henry Ford.

To our time 2018: a true billionaire of power – Warren Buffett!

Buffett utilizes his money, not to give to his family, rather if a family member desires a position, they must earn the respectable position through hard work. He neither offers trust funds, housing to family members, only education will he offer payment.

“This is my money I have worked for and it will go to the greatest good, you work for your money!”  Buffet donates his wealth, 32 billion and more to the Melinda Gates Foundation, whose many aspirations are Global Development Programs, developing countries on family health, vaccine delivery, emergency relief, and access to computers and the Internet.

This is true Power!

Money means of Freedom!

Another Powerful leader was represented in Nelson Mandela: “He freed a nation fraught by occupation, killings of young children in the streets, merciless killings of Africans so horrifying many cannot print the vulgarities.”

From imprisonment, with a gracious demeanor, Mandela watched for 27 years the ravages of his country’s war and slaughter.

Imprisoned at Robben Island for 18 years, Robben Island was his heated cauldron of action. Mandela’s intellect, charm and dignified defiance would sway the most brutal prison officials in seeing his alternatives. His authentic leadership gave him Authoritative Power!

Mandela emerged to fight and win one of the greatest political battles, a new democracy for South Africa.

Here is an example of Mandel’s Authoritative Power!

“He always made the point, if they say you must run, insist on walking. If they say you must walk fast, insist on walking slowly. That was the whole point. We are going to set the terms.”

True faces of Power lend to an inner peace and happiness!

Young girls and Women have been denied their natural Power and Authority!

 You are Bossy!

“We call our little girls bossy. Go to a playground; little girls get called bossy all the time ~ a word that’s almost never used for boys ~ and that leads directly to the problems women face in the workforce ~Sheryl Sandberg”

We are in a changing climate of women, determined to thwart belligerence, unconscious innuendos, and acceptable practices we see in the news. Our history has not come far from Susan B. Anthony, 1820-1906 era.

Here is your future boss!

A little history:

American suffragist Alice Paul (1885-1977) was born a prominent Quaker family from New Jersey. She became active in radical suffragists. After two years with the National American Woman Suffrage Association (NAWSA), she cofounded the Congressional Union and then formed the National Woman’s party in 1916.

Alice Paul participated in a hunger strikes and imprisoned, fighting in protest through hunger strikes, she was force fed, with dire physical consequences.

Ratified on August 18, 1920, the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution granted American women the right to vote!

This is Power!

When I was 6 ~ 7 years of age, I was told vigorously – “You are bossy and grumpy!”

I was a little girl doing what came naturally!

“Little girls are to be pretty and sweet, wear white dresses and white shoes, be an example of a demure Princess; were the words stated to me by mother! And she dressed me in white crinoline with white shoes.

She had no impact on me, for my life continue without heed to her words, instead;  I did it my way!

I was not a power source, rather, Authoritative., why, because I cared without regard of myself, rather to all around me.

The difference is: Authority will follow or lead, whatever is required in the moment. Resilience and adaptation are often a predisposition, not acquired when authentic.

This might be the reason, why my life partner became a trusting relationship with an Arabian horse.

Let there be Peace and a Harmonious Life in Power!

True Power is Transformation!
