Changing Life Up

Life needs to be changed up! This is short and sweet; It is time to Change up life.

One subject I have been avoiding and that I need to write about is TBI, Traumatic Brain Injuries. Yes, this is a trauma story. Nonetheless it affects millions of people including myself. The aftermath and grueling recovery through TBI is more than possible, it is a fact with innovative findings every day.

Other subjects I love, FOOD – GOOD FOOD. Yes we have the Iron Chefs to watch on TV, but let’s check out Tim Ferriss “The 4 Hour Chef”. Completely out of the Box, there is no Box – he is universal in thought and living. Nothing stands in this mans way of living. His stubbornness is his genius way to adventure in life.

We all can get stuck, it is the unsticking and changing the way we think and view life that opens doors. This means I am changing what I read – there is no TV, rather selective viewing via articles and streaming with writing each day new goals – and how my timing is being handled to accomplish a rich life.

Time to change up! What do you need to change in life. I had a major accomplishment, getting beyond 1/2 dozen TBI’s and many surgeries. This may be in the past for me, but how did I do this. It was an exhausting endeavor, and I did this because I want to live life!!! Live life with all the exuberance and adventure one could squeeze into our short years here and then let the world know about healing, fun, joy, love, my Arabian horse and his part in my healing and my great Blue Heeler and her part. Also a plethora of people who came, helped and left. We all move on…….

It time to Change UP

I take it you have made your move to Colorado? Either way it sounds like you are moving your life in the right direction and taking that list of happy things you made before the new year and taking it to heart rather than letting it just be words! I am so happy for you!

I am way behind at my replies! Thank you so much for your comments and your kind words in the private comment you made. I am not sure how you did it, but I prefer to think of you as slightly magical. 🙂 You’re definitely amazing anyway. 🙂 And I agree Colorado is beautiful. I like New Mexico, but it just seems a little too desert like for my tastes!

          Swarn,

Your comment comes very very (know I am not suppose to use this word in prose 😉 timely.
I am far from magical, at least the way I feel at this moment in time of my life. Headstrong is more the attribute!
Nonetheless I will accept your compliment and maybe look at what might be magical in my life and implement the use of the idea. I do need major magic at this time!!!
Thank you for all that you share. I suppose you are referring to the TBI article. NOt just changing life up. It sure did change me up LOL
Thank you for sharing your family

How is the future scary? What is it that scars you? You don’t know what is down the road, it could be a curve to a beautiful forest or a straight road to a new dream. The adventure is what leads and inspires all of us. Inspiration does not come by sitting still or hiding – it comes through the newness of life.
Thanks for following….. there is so much to say, write and live. Life derailed what I thought was a great plan – obviously resilience was my best friend beyond my wonderful Blue Heeler and Arabian horse.
I might suggest to you read some Tim Ferriss and let the “scary” melt away.

      1. Oh the future is a beautiful thing for sure. It’s just getting there and which road to take, and knowing which road may be the best and brightest is all. But I welcome the fear, and let it teach me and follow it, for it can be a beautiful thing in the right light.
Beautiful words though and you’re more then welcome. And I think I’ll definitely have to check good ol’ Tim out. Thank you!

          Jeremy,
There is beauty and there is horrid, we move through all of it. Does it make us stronger? sometimes, sometimes it kills us. The roads have one guarantee – a journey and destinations along the way. We all have this in common, a story to tell, a life to share.
I mean no disrespect to your feelings on life, if I offended you I am sorry. Life can take some ugly twists of fate, it is up to us and timing of resilience within us – that we pick up and continue forward. At times, into a blind abyss.
